The Zeppo

It is currently three am and I am sitting on my kitchen floor eating cereal because I tried to bake vegan cookies and it went horribly wrong. I don’t even know what I did to them! They look like flat little hockey pucks and they taste slightly like charcoal. HOW COMES I SAY? I followed the recipe exactly but clearly the baking gods decided to curse me tonight. So now I am hanging out with my cat and listening to the rain outside. It is actually super peaceful even though my kitchen looks like a war zone of flour and sugar. Sometimes these quiet late night moments are the best part of the whole week. I get easily excitable during the day so it is nice to just sit still and be a little silly by myself. Tomorrow is a new day to try again and not burn the house down xD!
