The Zeppo

Does anyone else sometimes miss the early seasons of The Walking Dead? I went back and watched the pilot episode today and wow it feels like a completely different show. Rick Grimes waking up in that empty hospital is still one of the most chilling opening sequences ever. Back then a single zombie was a massive threat and they had to hide under cars! I love the later seasons too but those early days in Atlanta with the original group just hit different. It was all about pure survival and trying to keep your humanity intact. I used to get so incredibly excited every Sunday night when a new episode came on. I would literally yell at the screen whenever Shane did something crazy xD. Truly a masterpiece of television horror even if it made me terrified of the dark for months!
