The Zeppo

Does anyone else write roleplay responses and find that their characters just completely take over the plot? I was trying to write a nice simple scene with Sam Winchester just doing some standard lore research in the library, but instead he ended up getting into a massive existential crisis about his destiny. LIKE EXTREME CRISIS MODE xD. He just started thinking about his brother and his past and everything went totally off the rails. I guess that is what happens when you write a character with that much emotional baggage! Faye is always so patient with me when my replies turn into giant walls of text about Sams feelings.
